Baptism
Who: Parents who are baptizing their child (Anytime)
What: Parents meet with Pastor to plan the baptism, review what baptism entails, and chose sponsors – Cradle Roll materials will be received the first three years after baptism.
The Bridge
Who: 3 year olds bridging into the Beginner Sunday School.
What: At age 2 1/2 the toddler will receive cradle roll material as well as a music CD preparing the toddler for Sunday School. At age 3 year olds Beginner Sunday School Program.
Sunday School
Who: 3 year olds - 5th grade
What: Every Sunday, you can be sure your child(ren) are hearing the message of God’s love and forgiveness through Jesus.
VBS
Who: Kids 4 yrs. old – 5th grade
What: Summer week-long education and outreach program for kids.
Jr. Youth Bible Classes
Who: 6th – 8th graders
What: Bible Classes covering a Gospel (Life of Jesus), an epistle (the Christian Faith) or Bible overview of Old and/or New Testament and how it connects to Jesus.
Confirming Faith
Who: Students who have completed Confirmation Classes
What: Youth complete a two-year program learning the fundamental beliefs of our church using Luther’s Small Catechism. At the completion of the class, youth will share their confession of faith and prepare to be confirmed members of our Lutheran Church. Youth will understand that this confession was spoken for them at their baptism and now they themselves as young adults will confirm what was spoken for them at Baptism.
Celebration: Presentation/Questioning of the chief parts of the Small Catechism or a Topic will be giving on 1st Saturday of May at the 6:30pm service. Faith Statements and the Rite of Confirmation will happen at the 9am Traditional Service the 1st Sunday in May.
First Communion
Who: Kids who have completed two years of Confirmation
What: Youth will receive their first communion with their families at the 9am service the 1st Sunday of May.
Sr. Youth Bible Classes
Who: 9th -12th graders
What: Bible Classes covering a Book of the Bible or a life topic.
Youth Ministry Events
Who: 6th -12th graders
What: Youth joining in on-campus and off-campus events providing opportunity for fellowship, devotions, and service with other youth; includes summer mission trips to Lutherhaven, National Youth Gathering, and other events.
Adult Bible Classes
Who: 9th grade and beyond (as well as all adults)
What: Bible Classes on Sunday Morning and throughout the week for all to attend.
