Q. Why a special campaign?
A. In the past, Zion members thought big and established the Lord’s house, sanctuary, fellowship hall, and school that we presently utilize today. The last major church renovation was 25+ years ago. The time is now to focus our attention and resources improving our church with the presented goals of Zion’s Ministry Expansion Campaign. To be successful, we desire every member’s participation and support.
Q. How will this campaign enhance our efforts to connect more people to Jesus?
A. The anticipated vision from this expansion will display front and center our love of God's house and our renewed care for her building and grounds.
A. The LCEF, Lutheran Church Expansion Fund, has been selected to provide team guidance support for Zion’s Ministry Expansion Campaign. Other giving opportunities will be presented during our three-year financial campaign
Q. When will the campaign begin?
A. The campaign will launch March 7, 2026 and will be completed by 2028
Q. Based on our giving, what will be the sequence of ministry enhancements
A. The campaign in principle and vision began within Zion’s initial building improvement team during 2024-25. Architectural plans were overwhelmingly approved at the September 2025 voters meeting PowerPoint presentation.
Repairs | Refurbish | Remodel
A. In order for a successful completion of these plans, it is vital that all members participate. Doing so, will help us bring the salvation message of Jesus to all people; current and future members, visitors, and members of the community. It will also ensure our buildings will receive the required care and maintenance needed to meet the needs of today and the next generation.
Q. What ways can I contribute?
A. Contribution methods, prayers and giving support are a few of the ways to be a part of the whole. Commitment Sunday will be announced at a later date so that all members can participate and celebrate our goals of Expanding our Legacy. Other opportunities will be shared as the project moves forward.
Q. How will this campaign help us increase participation, attendance, and school enrollment?
A. A refreshed modern ADA handicap compliant church, new choir loft accommodation, 1st floor accessible restroom, asbestos-free tile flooring, remodeled welcoming lobby and meeting area, remodeled lobby hallway access to the sanctuary, remodeled contemporary service layout; all will enhance our worship, encourage more fellowship opportunities, and to ensure the gospel accessible to everyone so 'All will know Jesus'.

- An enlarged functional and welcoming central entrance and lobby are the centerpiece providing a handicap (ADA accessible) central gathering area.
- The enhanced covered entrance will add safety at arrival to church from the weather elements of Northeast Ohio.
- The expanded lobby is designed to double the size of our existing space and will offer a welcoming gathering place for Zion to continue providing the message of Jesus, providing a central meeting place, to greet and chat with established and new congregants.
- A coffee café with tables and seating.
- A large screen monitor to display the upcoming daily and weekly activities. Additionally, the large screen monitor will be used during adult bible classes allowing projected meeting and study materials enhancement

- Repairs are a main priority and include stairs, flooring and parking lot.
- Refurbish includes ADA compliance elevators, restrooms, a chair for the choir loft, and stage area for the praise hall.
- Remodel plans over the 3 year period will deliver a new main entrance lobby, atrium, and roof canopy entrance.
